Top 5: Songs for Spring

Hello blog world. I'm slowly coming back to you. It's difficult to come up with posts when it's so dreary outside you want to crawl into a hole surrounded by blankets while avoiding your mountainous [and growing] pile of homework.

But today is a good day. My sister and her friend are coming to visit, along with my roommate, Kayla's boyfriend and his friend [who I met two weeks ago and have been texting pretty consistently. He looks like Prince William!] It's also ridiculously sunny outside and I'm going to walk to the train station avec Kayla. Excited!

So, to celebrate the weather, my Top 5 songs for Spring.

In no particular order
1. "Young Folks" - Peter, Bjorn and John.
I dare you to drive out into the middle of nowhere with your friends one night, and blast this song and dance. I. Dare. You.

2. "Beautiful Child" - Rufus Wainwright

3. "Sad Sweetheart of the Rodeo" - Harvey Danger

4. "Mushaboom" - Feist

5. "Portions for Foxes" - Rilo Kiley

These were what I listened to on repeat for many springs when I was a teenager. Nostalgia.

Now go walk around in the warm weather. You'll feel good.

With love and tulips
Cathryn
